ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Gerald Williams is an ordained Christian minister, retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel, and lifelong servant of both the church and the community. Rooted in the A.M.E. tradition and shaped by decades of study in Biblical economics and church management, he has spent over twenty years teaching congregations how to steward their resources, lead their people, and grow their ministries with purpose.
His service extends well beyond the pulpit. From leading DURROC, a community-based nonprofit supporting formerly incarcerated individuals, to managing multi-million dollar projects during his military career, Gerald brings a rare combination of spiritual grounding and real-world leadership to everything he builds. He holds a Master's degree in Management from Troy University and certifications in theology, Biblical economics, and Lean Six Sigma.
Shift Ministries is the natural next chapter — bringing together everything he has learned as a minister, a leader, and a community servant to help churches grow and communities find their way home.
